The next few days were quiet. Sophia made sure to avoid me and I her as much as possible. And if we needed to talk to each other, we'd send message across through Nancy or Tanya.
It wasn't so painful, after all we've spent years apart, Even so, it was going to be a while before I could relax. I still find myself thinking about her sometimes.
There were times that I thought she was going to say something. A subtle glance, a sudden shift in tone of voice This morning, she hadn't spoken to me at all and I couldn't help but wonder if she was mad at me or something.
But we would finally go our separate ways soon enough. So what was the point of trying to fix things now?
