Lady Zelda's POV
I took a small towel and dipped it on warm water that I boiled and placed in a metal bowl. I squeezed all the water out and placed it lightly on Cassidy's cheek. She winced as I lightly tap the towel on her bruise which was caused by her father's slap.
She had been crying when I brought her to her room, but when I left to boil some water and came back to see her. She had been silently sitting on her bed like nothing happened. "You should have told me first that you were pregnant," I whispered.
If I knew that she was carrying a child, I won't let her go near her parents and confess.
"I was afraid," she muttered underneath her breath.
She's still young and she was shielded from the world by her parents. Now, she's pregnant and unmarried. How could she handle all her problems by herself?
"Yet you weren't afraid to tell your parents about it."
