Tragic Ruins
Brianna’s POV
I was shocked as I stared at Rogue. He was just looking at me with his widened eyes. The old man suddenly became aggressive and he kept on sending Rogue away. His face was red and dark as if he saw his mortal enemy.
I swallowed hard and tried to hold the old man’s arm. “Sir…”
“And you!”
“Ah!” I shrieked when he pushed me away and I fell on the bed of sunflowers. My eyes widened too.
“Brianna!” Rogue ran to me, ignoring the old man who attempted to push him away.
Rogue gently held my hand and pulled me up as his jaws constantly clenched. He looked pissed. I’m afraid he’ll fight with the old man so I tried stopping him by pulling his arm. He ignored me. Instead, he held my hands and intertwined our fingers. My lips parted as my heart raced because of what he did. He dragged my hand with his hand resting between our thighs. My lips pressed, creating a thin line. That simple gesture affects my whole system.
