Chapter 9 Foolish Kashi Family
Irene's expression was reminiscent of a priest comforting his congregation in a church.
The girl didn't take Irene's comfort to heart. Such words were often said but rarely came true—those who committed many evils never seemed to face real punishment.
She was lost in the joy of Irene agreeing to help, unaware that anyone from Irene's mercenary group would avoid Irene when she had that look.
The quieter the scorpion, the more deadly it is.
"Alright, girls, let's practice. Repeat the moves we did earlier!"
As Irene watched the girls, she took out her phone.
"Good evening, Miss Irene."
The deep voice carried an iron will and the scent of gunpowder from the first word.
"Good evening, Frank. I have something you might be interested in."
"Oh?"
"Decker is selling FBI internship spots."
The man on the other end simply grunted, indicating he was already aware.
"I have evidence."
"How much do you want?" Frank's tone changed.
"Free, as a gift to you. We are old friends, after all."
