Chapter 87 Uninvited
Upon leaving the café, Sabrina tossed the documents onto the car seat and drove home.
At home, she began arranging the investigation, staying in the study the entire time.
It wasn't until the nanny finished preparing dinner that Sabrina came downstairs.
"Mommy!"
Zoya rushed into Sabrina's arms like a cat.
Sabrina's weariness vanished instantly at the sight of the kids.
The happiest moments of her day were always spent with her adorable little ones.
"Mommy, before we eat, we have a gift for you!"
The kids followed Zoya, looking mysterious.
Sabrina then noticed a huge cardboard box behind the kids, wrapped in pink ribbon with a bow.
"Mommy, today is your birthday."
"This is our birthday present for you."
The kids said, smiling at Sabrina.
Sabrina's face registered surprise.
She had forgotten her own birthday again.
Time seemed to slip away from her, and she hardly remembered what day it was.
"Thanks, darlings," she said, feeling moved and at a loss for words.
