Lucas had changed his room, but for him to leave with Tiffany so early in the morning only meant one thing—they had shared the same room.
Suddenly, Evelyn felt nauseous.
She quickly avoided the couple and returned to her own room. Attempting to vomit, she ran into the bathroom but nothing came out in the end.
Her appetite had worsened comparably, and perhaps her condition was worse than she had imagined. Looking at her haggard self in the mirror, a chill spread through her heart.
Humans were fragile beings.
However, she was glad that she had managed to come to her senses before it was too late. She still had time to start over.
Evelyn decided to freshen up and touch up her makeup, making herself look much more presentable and healthier.
