After a night’s sleep, I still felt tired and sleepy. However, the sun had risen, and I couldn’t stay in bed anymore.
I got changed and brought Ferlanda to the beach.
The salty but chilly winter wind woke us up.
Ferlanda pulled her coat tighter around her body. “Aimee, it’s cold here.”
I was afraid of the cold, but other than the chilly breeze today, the overall temperature was fine.

Ferlanda and I took a stroll along the beach, enjoying the chilly breeze and rhythmic crashes of the waves. I took a deep breath to clear my head and calm myself down.
“Aimee, look! There’s a seagull!” Ferlanda pointed happily at the sky.
I looked up and saw a white seagull soaring across the morning sky. It flew elegantly and freely in the sky.
“Yeah. The scenery by the beach is always magical and beautiful,” I said with a smile.
