[Aimee] After many days of hard work, Lush Town was finally free from the plague. When the last patient was ready to leave the church, everyone else waited for him at the entrance. They held flowers of all colors that they had collected from the mountains. When the door opened, thunderous cheers and applause erupted. “Thank you! Thank you for saving Lush Town!” I was surprised by the loud cheers and applause, but I quickly regained my composure. Several little girls approached, each holding a flower hoop. They placed the hoops on the four of us before shyly running back to their mothers. Mars welled up with tears, attempting to hold them back. However, the cheers and the warm atmosphere overwhelmed him, and he leaned on Kugler's shoulder, sobbing. Kugler was disgusted by Mars’ tears, but he got teary as well. It was a sign that he, too, was happy about what he achieved with us. Mars was crying and choking like a little boy, so I spoke on his behalf, “Thank you, ever
