Chapter 100 Encountering the Snow Tribe

Kugler and Uncle Clemont couldn’t keep up in strength. Despite Aunt Timmu’s efforts to distract the creatures, they could barely evade the yetis' relentless attacks.
“Jump onto that tree, Aimee!” Alger pointed at the tree beside me. Although the branches weren’t coated with thick snow, they hid me from the yetis and bought Aunt Timmu and the others some time.
With a swift leap, I landed on the sturdy tree trunk and shouted for Aunt Timmu’s attention as she battled the yetis.
“Get away, Aunt Timmu!”
Acting fast, Aunt Timmu rolled to the side. The yetis tried to give chase, but I shook the branches to cascade the snow onto them.
The snow was sparse, but it proved to be a hindrance to the yetis' lumbering movements.
“Now!” I yelled before leaping to a tree where the other yeti was.
With each tree I leaped on, the accumulated snow tumbled down like a sudden blizzard.
Aunt Timmu seized the chance to plunge the dagger into the yeti’s chest.
“Argh!”
