Ophelia stood there for a while without moving before she eventually took a deep breath. "I can do that. I've said it before—I'll stop if either of us dies. I certainly won't leave this world before you. So, go ahead and die first. But do it in somewhere else instead of my house!"
Her words were devoid of any emotions, sending shivers down my spine and stabbing my heart like a thousand needles before crushing it into pieces.
