ADAM I rolled my eyes as the alarm clock began to ring, and I quickly silenced it so that Mirana wouldn't be startled awake; it had been a long night for her, and she could use some rest. In addition to that, I am going to prepare her breakfast before she opens her eyes. After I had given her a peck on the cheek, she muttered my name, which caused a quiver in my lips that turned into a smile. "Oh, honey, are you thinking about me in your sleep?" I mumbled something under my breath as I slowly got out of bed, grabbed the doorknob, and made my way to the kitchen. When all of a sudden there was a knock at the door, I was on my way to the kitchen to fetch some flour and eggs to make pancakes. "Someone up this early?" As I put the flour and eggs on the table, the question crosses my mind. I bolt to the door, grab the doorknob, and enquire about the possible identity of the intruder.
