After Levi and Kai left, Sara left the bathroom and went into her room. She locked the door behind her—in case Levi had a change of mind and decided to get rid of her. "You'll get us killed at this rate," she grumbled to Edna as she changed into her pajamas. "Why did you have to do that when Kai was around?" Edna sighed and replied, "It's full moon tonight, you know." "And?" "Normally, it's hard to hide sexual desire because of the mate bond. On a full moon night, it's nearly impossible. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." It was Sara's turn to sigh. There was nothing she could do about that. After the way Levi had touched her, she couldn't blame Edna for not being able to keep her desire in check. Not when her body got hot just thinking about it. Those eyes, those hands, on her skin, her breasts… She shuddered. It was crazy that after how things ended, she was still having these kinds of thoughts.
