"So, Mr. Burton," the host was still trying to dig deeper, "I was talking to Aurelia about her dream guy."
"I heard," Conor shot a quick look at Stacey.
Stacey dodged his eyes. She really wished he wouldn't look at her. She wouldn't have said that if she'd known it was him.
Sure, Conor had a bunch going for him - money, looks - but his fiery temper was a major turn-off.
"Whatever floats her boat, I can be that," Conor replied with a slight grin.
A hush fell over the room. His words had a suspiciously sweet ring to them.
