Conor's deep, cool eyes conveyed concern. "Don't you have something to do tonight?"
Stacey was taken aback.
Indeed, she had something to do.
"What's the matter, Stacey?" Melissa asked in surprise.
"It's nothing," Stacey awkwardly responded. "Just a small matter. Grandma, let me take care of it, and then I'll come stay at your place."
"Why don't you come back with us now, and if you need to go out later, we can talk about it then," Leo suggested.
