Chapter 103: True Colors
Natalie was left in a daze. She just wants everything to be good. But money wasn't playing along.
When Stacey and Conor got back after shopping, Clark was stuck with the cooking. He thought Natalie would help, but she was busy chatting with Matthew. Clark was left thinking why the heck he had agreed to do the cooking.
Despite all this, Clark managed to whip up a nice meal. Stacey dished up some for the old lady.
The old lady looked at Stacey and said, "Thanks."
Stacey smiled back, "No need for formalities. Hope you like it."
The woman just grunted. Stacey then went downstairs. Natalie, being curious, asked, "What did she say?"
"She said she's a big fan of our food," Stacey said calmly. "After we eat, we should hit as many tourist spots as we can."
No one could argue with that; if they didn't do their tasks, they would get penalties. Another penalty could mess up their next stop. So, after dinner, they set off.
