I could vaguely sense Blair looking at me in confusion.
But I didn't turn around because I knew that when refusing someone, I had to be completely resolute and not give them any false hope.
After the auction ended, I bid farewell to Rebecca and prepared to leave.
Just as I stepped out of the venue, I saw Abigail standing at the entrance, walking toward me under the crowd's watchful eyes.

But Abigail looked at me with an air of arrogance and coldly ordered, "Come with me."
"Hmm?"
I frowned and looked at Abigail, asking seriously, "Abigail, aren't you being a bit too bossy?
"You asked me to accompany you to meet clients, I did that. You asked me to help you with other stuff, and I did that too.
"Now you act like you're giving orders to a dog. What's that about?
"Am I supposed to live my whole life just for you and not for myself?"
