Chapter 63 : War
Caspian heaved a sigh, gazing at the black tuxedo. He had never felt so helpless before. He clenched his fists, staring at the dragon tattoo on his forearm. "If only I had control over this immense strength," he muttered as the veins in his hand became prominent. "I couldn't fight back because of those kids."
Caspian never thought Aphrodite could end up afflicting her own kind for the sake of her pride. He shut the door, tension crawling across his shoulders.
The blood-smeared bodies of Cristie and the others were still in the hall room, tied up and beaten badly.
As Caspian came downstairs, his eyes roved the room, brows furrowed in anger. The floorboard creaked, and Caspian turned, grumbling, "These kids need medical attention. I did as you had demanded. Then why do you—" Caspian couldn't finish his words as his eyes fell on Aphrodite, dressed as a bride.
