Chapter Thirty-Nine : Shrine
"Caspian, do you wonder why I was against your mating with Bailey?" the Alpha Lord asked as his eyes went far away, meeting the heavy traffic ceaselessly flowing up and down the massive expressway.
After Bailey left earlier that morning with the oracle, Caspian got a call in her grandpa's office.
Caspian remained quiet, letting the older man pour out everything he had been carrying since his precious granddaughter appeared.
