Chapter Thirty-Six : Encounter
"Are you two lovers?" Eleanor questioned, leaning back on the couch.
Eleanor's face was overshadowed by the darkness. The fireplace in the corner was the only source of light in the wooden-structured room. The massive window was overwhelmed by the wisterias that prevented the daylight from entering.
It was bright outside. However, the inside of the house was dark and gloomy, like an old oil painting.
I stared at Caspian, getting curious about his answer. However, Caspian looked unbothered by the question.
"Though we got invited here to discuss business. If it's only about a session of kid's play, I would love to take my leave," Caspian said.
