Chapter Twenty-Nine : Red
"Why are you here?" Aphrodite coldly asked as Caspian entered the room on the Black Moon's highest floor.
"Your people weren't supposed to be on the West port last night. The contract clearly stated the snakes wouldn't invade the West port anymore," Caspian answered calmly.
Aphrodite toyed with the round paperweight on the table as her eyes glowed. She got up from her assigned place in her puffed sleeves, floral midi dress, barely appearing as a high schooler than a CEO.
"Contract? What kind of contract do you expect to exist after humiliating me in front of the world?'' Aphrodite questioned, getting close to Caspian. Even in her high-heeled shoes, she barely reached Caspian's chest, raising her head to meet Caspian's eyes.
