12. JAILBIRD

~ Violet ~ Violet could not believe her luck. Four years ago, she signed a deal with the devil and was held captive here for a month. Then she signed another deal with him and she ended up staying, voluntarily. It took her a full year before she was brave enough to break free from her chains. But then here she was, three years later, in an ironic full circle — again being held captive by Damon Van Zandt. “Just like the good old days, isn’t it?”  Damon was smirking, but Violet wasn’t amused. He had her tied up inside his playroom with no chance of escaping. At least when she was here before, she was here on her own accord.
