25. PERSEVERE

~ Zoie’s POV ~ “Mmhm, I’ll see you tomorrow,” Miles said as he planted one more kiss on Zoie’s lips. “See you tomorrow,” she replied, kissing him back. The weekend went by in a flash. After spending their first night together, Miles and Zoie enjoyed a lazy Sunday morning before heading back to the city. They made some pancakes and took a walk around the woods, and all of a sudden, it was already late afternoon. They drove back, stopped for some late lunch slash early dinner, and by 8 PM that night, Zoie was back at her apartment building. Miles walked her until she reached her door, and he couldn’t stop kissing her.
