She tried to struggle and Cardinal did something unforgivable. He slapped her across her face. That made me see red and in a split second I shot the hand he had the gun in making him drop it. Royalty picked it up and aimed for his head. "Xavier!" the others joined me "Royalty put down the gun." I said to her softly keeping my gun at Cardinal's head as he winced in pain. "BITCH!!" he yelled at her "Royalty, drop the gun baby. Don't do it." I tried to reason with her knowing that she was freaking out. She looked at me as her hands shook. She was freaking out and in shock that she was almost shot dead. I looked at her softly and held out my hand to her. "Drop it baby. Don't." I softly told her and she hesitated for a while before dropping the gun "Come." She took a small step before running down the stairs and into my arms crying. I kissed her forehead as she buried herself in my chest crying. I hugged her tightly breathing a sigh of relief. "It's alright baby. He won't hurt you.
