Chapter 29 Gratitude
Karl wanted to explain a few words for Selina, but Iden's phone suddenly rang, he glanced casually, it was a call from Sylvia.
Karl sighed lightly and looked at Iden, "You should think carefully about who you truly love!"
Iden was stunned for a moment, then looked up at Karl's back as he walked away.
"Iden, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Iden's low voice responded, then he found an excuse and hung up the phone.
Sylvia stood at the door, holding the ringing phone in her hand, staring blankly for a while before coming back to her senses.
A sense of unease grew stronger in her heart.
Thinking of Selina, Sylvia wished she could strangle that woman with her own hands.
But she knew she couldn't do that.
In her mind, she couldn't help but recall the scene last night when Iden had pushed her away.
