"What?" Xiu didn't have much fondness for Sarina, or for humans in general. What's good about those inferior creatures? Weak, greedy, fragile. Even though Sarina was indeed a good pet, she couldn't compare to the goddess in his mind. "Why call Sarina? Shouldn't we call Sophia instead? Eden won't obediently go back with Sarina," Kerr remarked, eyeing Eden sprawled drunkenly on the sofa. Kerr's gaze was complex as he glanced at the intoxicated Eden. A smile tugged at his lips. "Why don't we see who's more important to Eden?" Xiu stared at Kerr in disbelief. Kerr hadn't drunk much, yet he was starting to talk nonsense. Kerr paid no mind to Xiu's bewildered look. "It's not like you don't know Eden's attitude towards Sarina. If he really cared, he wouldn't..." Kerr frowned, interrupted by the sound coming from the phone, silencing Xiu. Annoyed, Xiu wondered why Kerr seemed to favor Sarina more between her and Sophia. Was it just because Sarina looked more pitiful?
