Chapter 121: Letting Go
As they walked out of the hospital, it was almost lunchtime.
"Is there anything you want to eat?" Sofia asked, carefully supporting Sarina's arm, noticing her still not looking too well.
Sarina shook her head. "I don't really feel like eating anything."
Sofia frowned. "But what about your baby? Don't you think about that?"
Sarina thought for a moment, still looking tired and weak. "Then let's go have cake!"
"No," Sofia refused firmly. "Didn't the doctor say you need a balanced diet? You can't just eat what you want, even if you crave it."
Sarina pouted at Sofia's serious face. "But I really want cake now!"
Sofia sighed, exasperated. After a moment, she relented. "Fine, we'll go have a meal, and I'll get you a piece of cake to satisfy your craving."
"Okay," Sarina replied reluctantly, her heart not really in it.
