"During the festivities, they pardon some prisoners with minor offenses. June's father is a ranked general so I'm sure he's behind this," Garret answered.
"She attempted to kill me,"
"And you didn't make a formal statement and were only arrested because the Alpha ordered it," Marcus said.
"Does the warden know of this," I asked,
"Oh, your friend. Yes, he even tried to fight it but he didn't succeed because there was hardly any evidence of your attack,"
"I'm the Luna of this pack and my word should be enough proof,"
"You made no formal complaint against them," He was serious and I knew that rule very well. I was shocked they even stayed for months in the penitentiary.
"The warden made their lives hell by the way and they were whipped almost every day, cleaned floors, and even helped around in the kitchen on some nights," He said.
"As they deserved," I snarled.
