Chapter 7: The Witch's Forest

Startled, I jump up, and I realized it was only a dream. I had unfortunately remembered tales from when I was younger, and now it would be hard to ignore or forget about it.
Without dallying, I immediately prepare to walk, eager find a safe place before night fell again. I could clearly remember more stories about the forest bring plagued by rogues too. I was weak at the moment, and it would be unwise to run into one.
Swiftly, I stepped out of the cave and took in my environment. Perhaps,it was because I was in danger the night before or maybe due to the fact that it was late, I hadn't noticed how beautiful the environment was. The beauty of the waterfall was only an addition.
The trees in the heart of the forest were tall and towering, forming a verdant canopy overhead, their leaves a patchwork of emerald hues that filter the sunlight into a soft, dappled glow.
