One evening, I found myself in the common area, surrounded by pack members. Baron was there too, sitting at a large table with Gabriel and a few others.
They were discussing something in low voices, their expressions serious. I caught snippets of their conversation about the spy from Storm Brooke and the ongoing tensions with other packs.

Later that night, as I lay in bed, my mind drifted back to the conversation I had overheard. The pack was on edge, and tensions were high. If I could find a way to use that to my advantage, perhaps I could find a way out.
