“Pictures,” she said to herself, reaching into the pocket of her cloak and pulling out the camera that had been wrapped in a frozen plastic bag. Hopefully, it should work, she told herself as she struggled to turn it on. It did. Jesus. She barely paid attention to the creatures around her as she raised the camera to her face. Hopefully, she thought, the magic should not interfere with capturing. She had seen it happen before; pictures had been taken because the magic in the air interfered. That was how warlock magic was, she noticed. That was why warlocks could hardly even take videos of themselves; they could hardly document their magic through the use of capturing. It was always rubbish.
Morgana’s fingers trembled as she snapped a picture of the glowing gate with her frostbitten hands, the biting cold numbing her fingertips until she could barely feel her grip on the device. The scene in front of her looked surreal, the swirling magic casting an eerie glow against the ice
