Talia "It's going to rain," I said, trying my hand at prophecy because I looked up at the sky. "Just because the clouds are dark doesn't mean anything is going to happen, Talia," Ariel said, coming up around me. "And you can't try your hand at prophecy." I looked at her with wide eyes. "Are you reading my mind?" I asked her. "Why would I? I have no reason to. Besides, my mind is already full of so much; adding yours to the mix is only going to get me angry." She scampered off, and I ran after her. "You forgot your basket," I said, handing her the basket filled with morning glories. "Thank you," she said, taking the basket from me. "Thunder," she said abruptly. "No rain, just thunder. It'll get a bit scary, so don't come looking for me to hold your hand." She left me standing in the same spot as I watched her retreating figure.
