Darius raised an eyebrow, clearly caught off guard. "What are you talking about?"
"The rain," Morgana replied, pointing toward the window. Darius raised his eyebrows, as if asking what about the rain. In his eyes, she saw more than just a general lack of interest. When she blurted out, “I saw her,” his interest was piqued.
"Who did you see?" he asked, his eyebrows raised in question.
“The one you're hiding—the one both of you are hiding,” she said, pointing to Celine, who seemed only mildly invested in the conversation. Morgana giggled hysterically; there was nothing funny, but it added a touch of the madness Celine was used to. “It tells me things. It tells me many things. It just tells me what I need to see, Darius.”
