678: SEEING THE OBVIOUS
ARIEL'S POV
I opened my eyes to see myself in my room. I looked around, feeling exhausted and I let out a deep sigh before I lay back on the bed. I remembered what happened last night. I remembered what happened between Luke and that man last night, how the both of them brawled with each other. And I also remembered how Luke kissed me and made me whimper.
What the hell was wrong with me? Why did I allow him to do that? Oh gosh, I'm such an idiot!
Just as I was lost in my thoughts, the door to my bedroom opened, and Janice walked in carrying a tray of breakfast. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and toast filled the room, momentarily distracting me from my emotional turmoil.
"Morning, Mom," Janice greeted with a warm smile, setting the tray down on the bedside table. "I thought you might be hungry."
"Thanks, honey," I replied, managing a weak smile as I propped myself up against the pillows. "Have any idea how I got here? Because if I can clearly remember, I was at this bar and...
