663: NO STICKING IN
LUKE'S POV
Damn, I couldn't believe I just lost my cool like that. But seeing Ariel today, and then having Elsa press me for answers... it all just boiled over.
"I'm not hiding anything from you. You're my assistant, not my therapist," I growled at Elsa. "I'm the boss here, and I don't need to justify myself to anyone."
Elsa just stood there, her eyes widening in shock as my words hit her like a slap in the face. She didn't say anything, just stared at me with a mixture of hurt and disbelief.
"Look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that," I said, my anger starting to subside, leaving me feeling like a total ass. "I've got a lot on my mind right now, and the things today with Ariel were just.......ugh, so painful."
Elsa remained silent for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Luke, I'm here to support you. I'm not trying to pry into your personal life, but if there's anything I can do to help... well, that's what I'm here for."
