661: THROWN AWAY
ARIEL'S POV
What in the world was Luke doing here? How in the world...oh gosh, no doubt about it. This man was following me.
Luke continued to look at me, so I turned my face away. I slowly took a look at me; he was still staring at me, grinning. I turned my face away once again. Shit! I wasn't feeling comfortable.
Foden, who was talking about the project, paused and looked at me. I had my face fixed on the table, and this had Foden really confused because he was making that expression.
"Umm, Ariel? What are you doing?" Foden asked me slowly.
I let out a fake laugh. "Oh, nothing. Just tired, that's all, and I need to get some rest. I think I should go home."
"But we aren't done yet. We still have to talk about the budget."
"You can text me later or call me," I told him, getting up. "I should be leaving now."
My eyes went straight to Luke, who was still looking at me. He winked, and I frowned. Then I walked out of the restaurant.
