ARIEL'S POV
I glanced around frantically, searching for any sign of help or escape, but the desolate stretch of road offered no solace. With a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, I knew I had no choice but to comply.
Trembling, I stepped out of my car and followed the two men. As we walked towards their vehicles, my mind raced with possibilities, each one more terrifying than the last.
"You don't have to worry about anything, ma'am. We're not here to hurt you," one of them told me.
"You're going to ignore the fact that you both are about to kidnap me?"
"Look, ma'am, I understand your feeling right now. But you have to trust us. We're not here to hurt you."
"Trust you guys? Like seriously, how in the world should I trust two men who just popped out of nowhere, chased my car, and now they're telling me to follow them?"
"Ma'am, you talk too much. Just get in the car."
I shook my head. "There is no way I'm getting in that car."
