ARIEL'S POV
Rick's face hardened, his demeanor quickly shifting from seductive to confrontational. "Fine. Fine. If that's the way you want it, then so be it."
He stood up, his tall frame looming over me. "But don't come crying to me when you realize your husband will never make you feel the way I can. When you realize that you deserve better than a man who can't keep it in his pants."
I glared at him. "I said, get away from me. Don't you dare say another word?"
With one final, disgusted look at me, Rick stalked away from the table, disappearing into the crowd. I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding, my whole body trembling.
