532: REMEMBER?
ARIEL'S POV
I arrived home, making my way inside the mansion. Daria's words were still revolving in my head. I didn't know why this had to hit differently, but it just did.
I think life has tortured me enough. Harriet, Mason, now there was Daria who was making these threats. Oh gosh, everything was just so exhausting. And it had me wondering, this happy ever after, did it really exist?
Still moving with these thoughts, Janice approached me after walking down the stairs. "Mom, where have you been?" She asked, frowning her face.
"I went to see your grandma. We had a few things to talk about," I answered softly, looking around.
"Do you know you're forgetting something?" She quizzed. Her tone was really serious.
I gave her a curious face. "Forgetting what?"
"Mom, don't tell me I didn't remember."
I suspired. "Janice, please tell me right now. I have a lot going on in my head, and if you want to keep me like this, I might just pass out."
"It's my birthday today,"
