495: THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS

LUKE'S POV "I have a purpose," the giant growled, his voice thick with hatred. "And that purpose is to end you, to put an end to your pathetic little life." He swung the metal rod at me, a brutal, vicious attack that forced me back, my feet skidding across the floor. "And I'll do it," he hissed, his breath hot and stinking of decay. "I'll end you, just like Harriet said I would." He lunged at me again, his fists swinging in a vicious flurry. I ran in that direction and saw various stones on the floor. I quickly picked up the stones, mimicking The Flash, and when I realized that the giant was approaching, I started to hurl them at him. The stones flew through the air like a hail of jagged projectiles aimed at the giant's head and body. Some missed, ricocheting off the walls and floor in a flurry of sparks and cracks. But a few found their mark, each impact sending a sickening thud echoing through the room. The giant howled in pain and rage, contorting his face into a mask of agony
