434: Tremors of Term
ARIEL'S POV
Suddenly, a rumbling shook the entire house, causing the walls to tremble and the floor to quake beneath our feet. Dust billowed from the ceiling, raining down on us in a flurry of particles.
As fear gripped me tightly, I clung to Luke's arm, my heart pounding in my chest. "What's happening?" I cried out, my voice barely audible over the shaking house's deafening roar.
Luke's expression mirrored my own confusion and apprehension as he scanned the room for any sign of danger. "I don't know, but we need to get out of here," he shouted over the cacophony of noise.
Celine stood frozen in place, her eyes wide with shock as she watched the chaos unfolding around us. "This... this isn't good," she murmured, her voice barely audible above the din.
