I couldn't help but burst into laughter at Samuel's response. "You have a girlfriend, and you're out here dancing with strangers?"
His cheeks flushed slightly, and he scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, it's not what it looks like! We're just friends who happen to dance together sometimes."
I raised an eyebrow, trying to maintain a straight face. "Oh, I see. "They're just friends who twirl each other around in cafes, huh?"
Samuel chuckled nervously, clearly caught in his own web of explanations. "Yeah, well, you know, it's all part of the dance group camaraderie."
Tessa chimed in, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Sure, sure. And I suppose you're just 'friends' with all those other guys, too, right?"
