"I see. And how long has he been waiting?" I asked Marcus.
"Well, it had been a few minutes. And I tried telling him that you didn't want to be disturbed. But he kept on insisting that he wants to speak with you."
I stood still, silent for seconds, processing his words. Of course, I knew Lucifer was the one who wanted to see me. Our business had not been over yet, and I just wished it was.
He was the one who called me at the mall today, and we had to discuss a lot of things, prompting the conversation to be a long-lasting one. He brought a lot of nonsense out of his mouth, talking about my loved ones who were no more, and it sparked an anger right inside of me.
I wanted nothing to do with him again, and he could keep his goddamn information to himself.
Ariel glanced at me, her body still covered in flour. And the face she made was so funny, that I wanted to laugh at her. Well, I decided to hold it.
"Go hit the shower," I told her, before leaving the kit
