Jason's POV "He's your dad?" Jake and Angel shouted in unison while looking utterly shocked. "Well would you look at that ha-ha. Your life does hold a purpose after all. Perhaps keeping that whore around was the right thing to do after all" I told Ariel. Ariel had been the product of a visit I made to an unmated she-wolf. I had met her when I was twenty-six and angry, I didn't have a mate and I knew she hadn't found hers either. I was aware she had been crushing on me since she became of age so I figured I may as well give her a go. Her name was Jules, she wasn't the prettiest of she-wolves by any stretch. She had short dark brown hair and brown eyes, a very plain jane but she took my mind off Vanessa and everything else. Each time I had the urge to take Vanessa and make her choose me before she was officially marked by William, I turned and went to Jules instead. The day she told me she was pregnant and that the pup was mine I didn't believe it. It was uncommon for a she-wolf to fall
