"Do you know why I summoned you here?"
Simon was unsure. "Please enlighten me, Mr. Blackwell."
Atlas' gaze deepened. He felt a sharp pain in his heart.
"Back then, Tabitha was dragged alive from the junkyard to this riverside. And then, she was thrown into the river right here.
"I just took a walk down from the junkyard. I've passed a total of 18 blocks, and it took me a full hour.
"I don't know what kind of despair she experienced during that hour. But I must eliminate all of the despair she had felt.
"This is my card. Go and buy all the 18 blocks of buildings for me.
"On our wedding day, I want Tabitha to be brought from the junkyard to this riverside. I want everyone in Newtropolis to see how they scorned Tabitha and how they threw her into the river. Tabitha will shine all the brighter because of it."
Simon's heart trembled upon hearing this.
Atlas wasn't just planning to marry Tabitha.
He wanted to announce to the world that Tabitha was innocent.
The world owed Tabitha
