"I think he's just here for the attendance points. He's waiting for us to do all the work and take the credit for himself," someone mocked. I already knew they were going to ridicule me in such a way. The fact that they referred to me by my first name despite my position did not go unnoticed. I was simply waiting for the right moment to turn the tables on them. I spoke up just then. "I was out working, of course. Didn't you all say that I'll have your confidence as the acting CEO if I can have Ms. Newton sign with us?" Andrew's expression instantly changed. "Does that mean… You've already met Camilla?" I revealed the contract at that moment. "This is the contract Ms. Newton signed with me. Remember to call me Mr. Page when you see me from now on." Without waiting for their objections, I stood up and left the office after that. Everyone in the meeting room had dark expressions on their faces, especially Andrew.
