Everything was so different. The pack house had changed. It was darker, almost as if it had been rebuilt from the ground up. The wooden flooring, the large shelves, and the paintings around the walls. The only feature I recognized was the large crystal chandelier, which was the first thing I ever picked out for the place. Will had been hovering around me ever since I'd gotten here. He never talked or came close to me. There was a look in his eyes that I couldn't quite place. Faran sat by my side in silence, just looking around. Killian had ushered a few of us into the great hall.
The grandeur of the place was enough to prove what I'd been thinking all along. Everything had indeed changed. The room was large, with high ceilings that could rival the Seelie court. Columns were stacked on each side. In between were large stained glass windows with numerous depictions of werewolves and landscapes so vibrant I found it hard to look away.
