Sienna and Zeke no longer spoke with each other and silently made their way back the way they had come from. After a prolonged period of silence, Zeke eventually replied in a raspy voice, “Thank you.” He expressed his gratitude to Sienna for providing him with protection in the toughest time in his life. Sienna enquired, “Where were you going to relocate?” “Capital City,” Zeke responded. He had been working on that plan for a while. There would always be a chance as long as he put in the effort since Capital City was an affluent city. His mother had initially opposed his plan. She wanted him to graduate; it was such a pity for him to give up when he only needed to finish the final semester. He had to persuade his mother over and over again. He believed he could escape the nightmare which Lavers had inflicted upon him. He never expected a drastic change would occur on the day before he was about to move away with his mother. If he could move earlier—just a little earlier—maybe
