Sandra encountered a small, injured dog lying on the road.
If not for her excellent driving skills, the dog would have likely been struck.
"Should we keep it home?"

Sandra, with a slight smile, teased, "Since you've been wanting to exercise more, perhaps you could bathe the dog after we get home?"
