Chapter 6 Who you are

Kimberly had always known that her feelings played a little role in this contract marriage but hearing it directly from her sent chills throughout her body. “Also remember that our family takes this matter quite seriously and should you fail, you will have more than just William and his concubines to worry about. I believe it isn’t unnatural for two people to die in one day or is it?” Quinn didn’t bear around the bush as she laid her threats plainly. Kimberly stood still, she knew Quinn wasn’t really one who would let her words fall to the ground without any action. Her resemblance to Quinn’s daughter perhaps was to blame but Kimberly didn't deem it reasonable to do so. Quinn was using the only person she cared about to compel her into seeing her marriage through. Luckily, her daughter scarcely went out, so it wasn’t much of a surprise, when Kimberly had shown up out of the blue.
