Lorraine wasn't in the best condition to discuss business right now. I carefully noted Yvonne's requirements, double-checked them, and asked Murphy to send her off.
Before leaving, she stopped at the doorway, her grip tightening slightly on the doorknob. "Marrying Lorraine is your choice, and I can't control that."
I raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to continue.
"But I won't let Jonas continue staying with you. See you in court," she said, her face full of disdain. Standing frozen in place, I rubbed my chin, not thinking much of her words.

"His mind is always burdened by his thoughts. Who knows what's in that head of his?" I asked.
Lorraine raised a finger to her lips. "Keep your voice down. He's a light sleeper."
Even the slightest noise could wake him up.
"What did you talk to him about?" I frowned as I recalled Yvonne
